Here's the scoop:
Nate was selected for a civil servant position at Hill AFB in Utah. It's been a crazy long adventure but we are nearing the end of the job offer adventure and preparing for the moving adventure. (life's an adventure, right?) At the moment they want him to start October 5th... so we decided that it was time to put the house on the market... and start seriously preparing. That is why I have been MIA.
I did slip in a trip to Utah two weeks ago and I had a wonderful visit with family and friends. I brought back a Utah souvenir "a cold" and I am still not fully recovered. It probably hasn't helped that ever since getting back into town I have been working like a crazy women to get this house in order. It all worked out and the house was officially listed yesterday and we had our first showing today. Whew. Now I just have to keep this house clean. Which I would think was impossible but since I boxed up most everything it's amazing to see how easy it is to maintain a clean house without the clutter. LOL! I'm thinking that everything in storage should just permanently stay away. : )
I have just a few pics to download from my trip but at the moment my camera battery's are out and I am to lazy to go get some to replace them. Maybe tomorrow? Who knows... I do have one pic to post. (it was emailed to me) While in Utah I got to have lunch with two very special friends, Kate and Gina. I can't even begin to express how wonderful these two girl are and how much I cherish them... all I can say is that I am blessed to be counted among thier friends. So here is a pic of those two fabulous gals and of course that's me in the middle. (Kate on left, Gina on right)
I'll post more when I have a sec... but that should be soon. It's all FINALLY coming together.

What an adventure! It helps so much that your kids aren't in school yet. School complicates everything! Good luck with the house and keep us posted :P
So sad for us to be losing you.... but happy for you to be starting a new chapter! Let me know if you need anything... ie watching children, help packing or leaning or if you need to get away I'm always up for girl time! We'll miss you!
Crazy! We are not far from Hill Airforce Base. Do you know where abouts you want to live?
We are in Ogden, which is about 15 min north of the base. We have planes go over our house EVERYDAY and sometimes we can even hear them testing their engines. The kids love watching for planes while we are outside and now I'm so used to the sound I hardly notice them anymore :) I know of 2 moms in our ward who homeschool. If you are interested I can ask them some Questions for ya. Just let me know what you want me to ask :)
HEY...someone is missing from that picture...
Cogratulations on the new job! I hope all goes smoothly and you guys get to settle down soon.
