So part of the reason that I haven't been posting much is because I have been preoccupied with my health. On March 23rd I went and had surgery in South Dakota... I had a Lap-Band placed inside my stomach. I have struggled with weight since a child and decided to take this drastic step so that I can have the quality of life that I want to have. I don't expect most to understand but it was done after much research and prayer.
I only have one chance at this life and I didn't want to miss out on any of the joys that are available to me and my family. I won't be posting on this blog about my Lap-Band progress but I do have a public blog at http://lapwithme.blogspot.com/ about this very personal journey.
