Our "Favorite Things"

So we got this game called "Take Off" in a white elephant game in January. It is such a great game to play with kids that I have to share it with you, my friends. Not only is it fun for adults and kids but it is educational. This game is absolutely our most favorite family game right now.
Game: You have to get your planes across the world form east to west. You roll color dice and follow the colored flight patterns on the world map. But watch out you might get a "Take Off" Card and it can send you anywhere in the world. You have to locate the "place" and then move your airplane to that location on the map. This could be a good thing or a bad thing. : )
Taylor loves playing this and it's a bonus that we "the parents" have fun too. I am of the opinion that when you find something good you should share it... so here is my "favorite thing" tip.
The only draw back I can see is that the game board is rather large and Tj sometimes get's over zealous and knocks the planes off their spots when he is reaching to move his plane. If we remind him not to lean on the board it works pretty well.
Here is a pic of the game laid out and a pic of me and Lee that TJ took yesterday.

That game does sound like fun! We are always looking for new games to play with the girls.
PS-I love White Elephant gift exchanges, they are always so much fun!
Thanks for the idea, who couldn't use more global friendly games? Oh, and CONGRATULATIONS on the new little on coming.
