Blizzard #3 Spring 09

Well, I can't ever remember 3 blizzards in two weeks before, so I guess this is a 1st. In between conference yesterday we decided to go sledding. It was probably to windy to be out but we wanted to go anyways... so we bundled up and walked over to our good friends house (five houses over) and sled down her back yard. It was a hoot... she let me bring Lee indoors to her basement and the rest of us took turns sledding. (which Lee appreciated) Here are a couple of pics.

On our way back home the wind was so bad it was hard to breath... TJ started to panic and when we got home he announced "Mom, I almost died out there! I couldn't breath!" I am just grateful I don't HAVE to be out in that stuff for long. We are so blessed with all our "warm comforts"

Nate and TJ climbing back up the hill.

Lee all bundled up!
Our little Lee!
Dad helping TJ back up.
I love this pic. Look at TJ... he is beautiful.
Me and my honey!
Nate trying his hand at sledding standing up... he is so funny. Such a little kid inside that 33 year old body. : )

It seems that the weather all over the country is getting very strange. I hope you guys are building up your food storage you never know what when it may come in handy. I am glad that you guys got to go sledding again before summer, yes it can take your breath away. Love YA!!!!!

Good point Sue... yep, food storage is one of the main reasons I took on this daycare. We are trying so hard to get our house in order.

That picture of TJ is beautiful. Looks cold. I can't imagine how much was in the hills by our old house. Looks like you guys had fun. You are still in my prayers :)!

Wow, I can't believe how much snow you guys have gotten. That is one thing I didn't like in South Dakota, I sure don't miss the snow.

How fun!! We have yet to take a sledding adventure as a family, maybe next year when we're all a little older. That is a great picture of TJ... looks professional!!
