Ward Summer Brunch

We had a great church bunch at the park this last Saturday. Here are a couple of the highlights.

We found that Nathan is rather good at jumping in a sack. (sack races) and though he didn't get 1st place he was right there at the front of the pack. Who knew a Computer Scientist could jump so high. LOL!

Lee loves watermelon... in fact once he has it in his possession he will carry it around with him like a security blanket.

TJ, Triniti and the ducks. (the park has a new rule about feeding the ducks... if caught feeding the ducks you could be fined $500.00 dollars) I guess the birds are not migrating so they had to get tough. TJ and Trin didn't mind trying to get around that rule by pulling up grass blades to feed the ducks. LOL!

Nate and Heather gave it a shot at the three legged races... we were a great team and were doing great until a tumble down a hill happened. Still trying to get my ankle to recover. Bummer. TIP: never do a three legged race down a hill.

Lee likes to yell at the birds.. not sure what he is saying but he has strong opinions.

We have the greatest ward family. They are truly apart of our heart and family.

Our family plus one. Triniti my niece is staying with us for the month of July.

The very intense sack race. You should see Nathan's face.... cracks me up.

Lee and his watermelon.

Did I mention Lee and his Watermelon?

Lee yelling at the birds. Notice, he still has watermelon in his hand.

We love the Black Hills. We are truly blessed to have spent the last 10 years in such a beautiful place. This is a scan of the little lake we were at for the picnic. Nothing like the hills further south but I wanted to share.
